Castle Views - Central - Exclusive 1 Bed Apartment

Great city center location with plenty of space. Positive: The location was right in the middle of city center with access to most attractions within a few minutes walking distance. The host was quite responsive when we experienced an issue with a nearby building alarm going off. The kitchen was easy to navigate, plenty of workspace, had all cookware necessary. Shopping was close by and easy to get to get to. Negative: While the location was a positive for access to all the wonderful things to see in Cardiff, the noise level from the nightlife was a bit much for our tastes. The nice thing about the apartment (as a couple), you could close the door between the living room and the hall to block a good majority of the noise. However, if you are traveling as a group, the people staying in the living room might want to invest in a good set of earplugs or noise cancelling headphones.

Highly Recommended Positive: Very handy place, clean, most of everything you can have like your houae. Kitchen has all utensils, and free coffee, english tea and sugger. Also there are also washing machine, detergent and softner. And Iron and ironing board. Instruction from the owner was clear and quick responce. I will definately take this place if I had a chance to come back. Negative: Noise from outside at night. Ther was a scarrfolding outside of bedroom door.

Had a great short stay Positive: Apartment was on 2nd floor. Lovely big windows, you can see some of the castle to the side. Lovely and clean, dishwasher a bonus. Washer/dryer in bathroom. Very clean. Shower a bit slow. Josh very responsive to any queries. Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and condiments. Perfect base to explore the City. Lots of entertainment, bars, pubs, restaurants and take aways. Car parking can be expensive. We used parking apps to find cheaper parking as suggested by Josh. Noise not a problem for us. Negative: Nothing

Positive: Cardiff is a lively town in the summer and this apartment is located just where everything happens. It is within walking distance from the railway station. The possibility to wash up clothes was a valuable bonus!

Positive: Very clean, comfortable accommodation, in an excellent location for shopping, theatre and dining out. Negative: A bit noisy due to the city location, but to be expected as very convenient for a city trip.

Great stay and amazing location. If you’re heading to Cardiff for a gig and looking for a place to stay - this is it. If you’re travelling with others and they need to use the sofa bed in the living room - I recommend bringing ear plugs (especially during the weekend). However, this is expected being right in the city centre, just a small tip!

If you are looking for a great flat in a central location in Cardiff, Josh’s place is it. The flat was exactly as described in the pictures. Josh made a very nice video explaining how everything worked. The bedroom is in the rear so you did not hear any pedestrian or street noise. It is a block from the Castle as well as High Street/St. Mary Street which has loads of restaurants. It is five minutes from Cardiff Market, which is a must see If fast food is your thing, every chain imaginable is within a block or two. If not, less than ten minutes walk down Queen Street (around the corner) takes you to M&S or Sainsbury. For sports fans you are a few blocks from the Stadium. The Central Railway Station and Central Bus Depot are about a fifteen minute walk. The Sophia Gardens Coach station is about fifteen minute too .

Positive: The location was great, the price was good, and the views of the cathedral from the living room was a great place for a cup of tea. It was a comfy place to stay and restaurants, shopping, and the Cardiff Castle and parks were steps away. Would recommend and would stay again!

Wir kommen wieder Positive: Das Appartment befindet sich in der Fussgängerzone, unweit vom Castle und St Johns. Alles was man in der Stadt besichtigen möchte kann gut zu Fuss oder mit dem ÖV erreicht werden. Lebensmittel und allerhand anderes Zeugs für den täglichen Bedarf gibt es in der Markthalle ca 5 min ums Eck... ..W-lan war kostenlos Negative: Die Küche und das Geschirr/Besteck hätte etwas besser gereinigt sein können, das Badezimmer war aber auber und völlig ok.

Nice apartment great location just too noisy for me. Positive: The location was very good. The layouts good the double bed is comfortable it’s a cute little apartment. Negative: The sofa bed is rock hard it’s in the lounge which is extremely noisy from outside. But if you’re sleeping in the back room it’s fine. There’s 2 flights of stairs and people in the other apartments are on holidays too so are very noisy enjoying themselves which is to be expected.Your need your own cleaning products and cloths extra towels too. I did not enjoy the noise at all goes on till about 3/4 in the morning if the windows were inter-glazed as their old fashion wooden pull up ones it would be so much better. Would I stay again no but I’m older if I was young on a weekend in Cardiff definitely.

This place is the center of everything, great for mid-day rest and retreats. Very convenient with access to everything. It’s also right above the commercial area so noise is inevitable. Having the washer/dryer that actually worked was great! The only thing I couldn’t figure out was the shower - the temperature was inconsistent for me while I was there.

This is a very comfortable, lively apartment that requires a stair climb to get to. Positive: The apartment is a very large one bedroom apartment. Well laid out, nice bedroom and bathroom, the kitchen that you could actually cook in, and plenty of space to hang out. The apartment is up 2 steep, narrow flights of stairs. This was not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing. Also, the apartment is surrounded by quite a bit of noise. Crowd noise at night, seagulls in the morning, and construction throughout the day. Again, this is not much a dealbreaker for us but worth knowing.

Great apt in city center with views of church and castle Positive: The location of this spacious 1-bedroom apartment is in the very center of Cardiff. It is close to all attractions in center like the Cardiff castle, shopping arcades, Cardiff market, and museums as well as pubs and coffee shops. The apartment was very clean. Size, location and cleanliness makes this a good alternative option to a hotel stay. Great value, too. Negative: Because the property is in the city center, there is some street noise from below at night and early in the morning. Of course, an owner cannot control street noise, however a prospective renter should be aware the apartment has older windows that afford scant soundproofing. The shower pressure is somewhat weak, but this didn’t bother us much.

Superbly located flat, close to all facilities and fully equipped. Josh is super reactive. However, the sofa bed in the living room is only an occasional bed (uncomfortable + the living room overlooks a noisy and bright street). In the bedroom it's perfectly fine (it just lacks proper curtains).

A perfect place to stay in the city centre! Josh was incredibly helpful and responsive, and the place was exactly as described and catered to all needs during my stay. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Cardiff as the easy access to the city centre is a rare find, and within a short walking distance of pretty much anything.

Very nice and beautiful place and everything is in a walking distance .If you going to brecon beacon then this is very near to station like 5 minutes by walking .I will recommend others and come back again .

Super-Céntrico, limpio y bien equipado Positive: El apartamento está super bien ubicado, en pleno centro de Cardiff, junto al mercado y a la iglesia de Sant John, a solo 10 minutos andando de la estación de tren. Apartamento muy completo, con todo el equipamiento de cocina necesario para cuatro personas. Buena calefacción para mantener el apartamento calentito. Todo muy nuevo. Camas cómodas. Y lo mejor, es que estaba todo muy limpio al llegar Negative: Lo único que no nos gustó fue la ducha, con muy poca presión y difícil de graduar la temperatura.

Josh was a wonderful host! Super responsive, and very helpful with our questions. This location is a tad loud, for those of you not fond of that, but we had no issues at all. Great stay for the price. Access is easy and simple to find.

Cannot fault the host, infant if I was to fault anything I would be being fussy! Stayed in 2 different apartments ( which by the way he helped me with last minute) they were both lovely. Josh is an excellent host who went above and beyond to accommodate us! The apartment was lovely and modern, plenty of space and facilities for a weekend break and was immaculate. Within walking distance of everything in the city centre, it was a fantastic apartment for a great price. Will definitely be booking with Josh again in the future!
